Information we collect

When you email us or request a quotation, we may receive your name, business name, email address, telephone number, collection and delivery addresses, consignment information and anything else you choose to tell us. Where an enquiry becomes a booking, relevant delivery and customer details may also be recorded in the systems we use to manage courier work, including Digital Waybill.

How we use information

We use personal information to answer enquiries, provide quotes, arrange and monitor deliveries, communicate with customers and courier partners, keep appropriate business records and comply with legal requirements. Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is taking steps towards a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in managing our business and customer relationships.

Quote enquiries and email

When you submit a website enquiry form, the submission is processed by Netlify Forms, our website form provider, which may store submissions in its dashboard. We intend to configure email notifications to speednationwide@gmail.com. Our email provider also processes enquiry messages. We do not operate our own separate enquiry database.

Sharing information

Where necessary to arrange a delivery, we share relevant contact, collection, delivery and consignment details with the courier or transport partner carrying out the work. Our email, website hosting and business systems providers may also process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

Keeping information secure and how long we retain it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it for business purposes. We keep enquiry emails and business records for as long as reasonably necessary to manage customer relationships, deal with queries or disputes and meet applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations. We review information and delete it when it is no longer needed. Different records may have different retention requirements.

Website analytics and cookies

We do not use Google Analytics or other visitor-tracking analytics on this website. Our hosting provider and any services you choose to use through the website may process technical information needed to deliver the site or provide their service. We will update this notice if our use of cookies or tracking changes.
